This restaurant is incredibly delicious . It offers a truly variety of great traditional Mexican food with very interesting uniqueness. Portions are perfectly picked for an average person, which means they serve what one would eat without anything going to waste, like it happens when portions are too big. Also, portions would be great for people who might want to share, and that way, they try more dishes. Staff is very polite when it comes to recommendations. Food is served quickly, considering that Mexican food takes time to be prepared. I tried a sopa (Campesina), an entrance (empanada de bacalao), and mole (guava with chicken) that was very well-balanced in flavor and chicken tender. Desserts are all delicious. The crew I was with chose a dessert. We split all to tried them all. Prices are very good considering the location of the restaurant and the quality of the food. I highly recommend the place and the food.
Walked by this place during the day, looked nice so decided to back after checking some reviews. Excellent service, great food. Caesar disappointing after the show of preparation at the table but entrees were amazing. The BBQ lamb was great and plentiful. My salmon with habanero and line sauce was outstanding. No room for dessert again but they have a great selection of desserts to go as well!
Wow such good food! I had tortilla soup and it was amazing!! Highly recommended. Front door is accesible but I think there are 2 entrance. Washroom is nice but small so not accesible if in a mobility device. Service was amazing!
We went based on previous reviews ... and we're absolutely extatic with all aspects of the restaurant. GREAT food and very professional and pleasant staff. Chicken Mole and Shredded pork dishes.
Favorite meal during my week in CDMX. Our server Hernando gave excellent suggestions. Each dish blew me away. I recommend the Uchepo (sweet corn tamale) dessert. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want unique dishes at a reasonable price point. Each dish’s presentation was beautiful. Extra points for how kind and attentive Hernando was. Would easily recommend this to anyone.

My husband and I loved Testal so much that we came back twice during our short stay. The food was incredibly delicious, fresh, and everything we could ask for. Our favorites were the various types of mole, and the beef and bone marrow tacos, and the grilled octopus. I also want to thank the staff their for their kindness and great service. Abril served us, and she was excellent! Thank you for a wonderful food experience.
Fantastic! Best place we have eaten in Mexico city! Very attentive, professional and friendly service! Delicious food and presentation! The juice was so fresh and delicious! Clean and the cleanest toilets by far in the whole city! Very impressive, happy and enjoyable!
